November 10: Mission Work Day at 9 a.m.

November 17: Mission Work Day at 9 a.m. (Note that there is no
Mission Work Day the week of Thanksgiving so that is why there is Mission Work Day on November 17 instead of November 24.)

LWR Kit/Quilt Update:
Even with COVID-19, we were able to send the following items to Lutheran World Relief (LWR)
this year:
• 70 quilts
• 70 masks
• 75 baby care kits (layettes)
• 85 school kits
• 110 personal care kits
Thank you to everyone who made this possible—whether you sewed quilt squares together, assembled the quilts, sewed diapers, or donated the items for these projects.
A huge thank you to Paul & Diane Jacobson, who used their truck and trailer to take the boxes of quilts and kits to Eau Claire for shipping to Lutheran World Relief.
This is the third year they have done this for us. Thank you to the church members who helped Diane load the trailer. With everyone’s help and the help of Thrivent Financial, we are able to continue God’s work.
Attention, Ladies!
If anyone would like to put Lutheran World Relief quilts together at home, there are material
and fillers at the church to be used for the quilts. If interested, please come to the Fireside Room on Mission Work Days (the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month) between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to pick up the material and fillers. Thanks!
Thankofferings
Just a reminder that the “Thankoffering” envelopes that were included in last month’s October newsletter need to be returned to the church office by December 15.
