Japan:
Along with other ELCA congregations, we support a missionary family serving in Japan: Patrick & Jacqueline Bencke and their children Emilie and Hannah. Patrick and Jacqueline serve at Kyushu Lutheran College, a college of the Japan Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kumamota, Japan. Patrick teaches English and Jacqueline works in the music program.

Lutheran Campus Ministry, University of Wisconsin - Stout (LCM)
As a Covenant Congregation, Christ Lutheran and other area ELCA congregations help to support this vibrant ministry to Students at UW-Stout, welcoming their students for joint worship twice each year, and providing helpers for on-campus LCM dinners.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Malawi (ELCM)
The ELCM was established November 21, 1982 by indigenous lay people who became Lutherans as they worked in the neighboring countries where Lutheranism had already existed and rooted. In 1999, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Malawi and the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin - ELCA covenanted together in a companion synod relationship. Christ Lutheran provides support for this mission through the Synod and through volunteer members who traveled to Malawi to assist with the building of Churches and agricultural efforts.
